When PT Isn't Enough —
Brooklyn's Non-Surgical Pain Specialist
Dr. Tanuj Palvia helps patients and clinicians find the answer between "keep trying" and "you need surgery." Precise diagnosis. Image-guided treatment. Real results.
A Higher Standard of Pain Care- Built Around Your Diagnosis
Most patients who arrive at Motionis Medicine have already done the right things — physical therapy, chiropractic, rest. They're still in pain.
That's not a failure. That's a signal the problem needs a different level of thinking.
Dr. Palvia's approach is built on three principles applied to every patient, every time:
Comprehensive Evaluation
Every case begins with a thorough diagnostic assessment — not a rushed intake. Dr. Palvia focuses on identifying the true pain generator and its contributing factors before any treatment is recommended.
Targeted Intervention
When procedures are appropriate, Dr. Palvia performs them with image-guided precision — fluoroscopy or ultrasound — ensuring accuracy and safety. Orthobiologic options are considered when the clinical picture supports it.
Rehab Before & After
Procedures alone don't create durable outcomes. Dr. Palvia coordinates with physical therapists and movement professionals to sequence care before and after intervention — for results that last.

When regenerative options may help, he evaluates each case individually and explains exactly what the evidence supports.
