Commitment

Digital Accessibility for Everyone

At Motionis Medicine, we strive to ensure that our clinical and digital services are accessible to people with disabilities. We have invested significant effort and resources to help make our website easier to use and more accessible, with the strong belief that every person has the right to live with dignity, equality, comfort, and independence.

We are actively working to align our web presence with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standard, which outlines best practices for making digital content accessible to users with visual, auditory, motor, cognitive, and other physical impairments.

Measures to support accessibility

Motionis Medicine takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of Motionis Medicine:

  • Include accessibility throughout our internal policies.
  • Integrate accessibility into our procurement practices.

Assessment approach

Motionis Medicine assessed the accessibility of Motionis Medicine by the following approaches:

  • Self-evaluation

Built-In Accessibility Features

Our website features an integrated Accessibility Helper Widget to give you immediate control over your viewing experience. You can activate this menu by clicking the blue accessibility icon located in the bottom-left corner of your screen.

The helper widget allows you to dynamically adjust the following settings:

  • Contrast Controls: Switch between Normal, Inverted colors, Dark Contrast mode, or Light Contrast mode for enhanced legibility.
  • Bigger Text: Scale text sizes dynamically across three separate levels to increase reading comfort.
  • Spacing & Line Height: Toggle expanded letter spacing and line heights for cleaner text blocks.
  • Link Highlighting: Enforce strong underlines and background highlights on all interactive links to identify click targets instantly.
  • Dyslexia Friendly Font: Swap layout typography to a customized typeface designed to aid reading comprehension for individuals with dyslexia.
  • Big Cursor: Increase the mouse pointer size for easier tracking across the screen.
  • Pause Animations: Pause motion effects, sliders, and transitions for users sensitive to movement.
  • Image Hiding: Hide graphics to minimize visual load and display text-only layouts.
  • Saturation Controls: Adjust color saturation levels to grayscale, low, or high intensity.

Keyboard Navigation & Focus Indicators

For users who navigate without a mouse, our site supports robust keyboard control:

  • Press the Tab key to navigate sequentially through interactive links, buttons, and form inputs. Use Shift + Tab to move backward.
  • Press Enter or the Spacebar to trigger active buttons, links, or to expand/collapse FAQ accordions.
  • An explicit, high-contrast gold focus ring is drawn around the active element to clearly display your keyboard position on the page, ensuring focus is never lost.

Multimedia & Closed Captioning

We provide video and audio content designed to be accessible. Any video embeds on our website support Closed Captioning (CC) to deliver a synchronized visual display of speech and audio tracks. Captions are not enabled automatically; you can activate or deactivate them using the media player's controller settings.

For support on enabling captions in YouTube, please consult the official YouTube Captioning Help Guide.

Optimizing Your Computer & Browser

If you experience difficulty interacting with digital content, we recommend exploring guides provided by the Social Security Administration (www.ssa.gov) and ADA.gov to configure your operating system and web browser to meet your accessibility needs:

  • Magnify Screen: Increase zoom levels across your system. In most web browsers, you can press and hold Ctrl (or Cmd on Mac) and tap the + (plus) key to zoom in, or the - (minus) key to zoom out.
  • System Pointer: Make your mouse pointer larger and set high-contrast colors (available in Windows and macOS settings).
  • Text-to-Speech: Utilize screen-reading software or native speech engines to read page text aloud.

Ongoing Optimization & Disclaimer

Motionis Medicine continues its efforts to constantly improve the accessibility of its site and services. Despite our efforts to make all pages and content fully accessible, some content, documents, or media may not yet have been fully adapted to the strictest accessibility standards. This may result from not having found or identified the most appropriate technological solution yet.
