Insurance & Costs
Coverage depends on your health plan and on the service you receive. The most reliable way to find out whether your plan is accepted and what to expect is to call Motionis Medicine at (646) 779-0995 before you book. Some regenerative treatments, such as PRP, are often not covered by insurance.

Is my insurance accepted?
We do not publish a list of plans on this website because coverage changes and depends on your specific policy. Please call (646) 779-0995 with your plan name and member ID, and the office can tell you whether your plan is accepted. If you prefer, send a message and include your plan name (but no medical details).
What affects the cost of care
- Your plan: deductibles, co-payments and whether the practice is in network for your plan.
- The service: an office evaluation is billed differently from an image-guided procedure.
- Medical necessity: many insurers cover procedures only for specific diagnoses and after other treatments have been tried.
- Regenerative treatments: PRP and other orthobiologic treatments are often not covered by insurance, so ask about out-of-pocket cost before scheduling.
Ask before you schedule a procedure
Before any procedure, ask the office what your plan is expected to cover and what you may owe. Your insurer can also tell you whether a procedure needs prior authorization.
If you are uninsured or choose not to use insurance, federal law (the No Surprises Act) lets you request a good faith estimate of expected charges before scheduled care. Ask the office for one when you book.
