It is the use of precise, image-guided procedures to find and treat the source of spine, joint and nerve pain. Procedures are performed under fluoroscopic or ultrasound guidance and chosen as part of a broader care plan.

When should I see a pain specialist?

Consider an evaluation if pain has lasted longer than expected, therapy or medication has not helped enough, imaging shows wear and tear but you want to avoid surgery, or pain interferes with work, sleep or daily activity.

Yes. Non-surgical and minimally invasive options are explored thoroughly. Dr. Palvia helps patients understand whether surgery is truly necessary and which alternatives may be appropriate for their case.

Do you offer PRP and regenerative treatments?

Yes. Regenerative (orthobiologic) options, including platelet-rich plasma (PRP), are available when appropriate. Eligibility depends on your diagnosis, and results vary. These treatments are often not covered by insurance.

Does insurance cover treatment?

Coverage depends on your plan and the service. Call the office with your plan name to ask whether it is accepted and what to expect.
